PaK Bank holds 36th board meeting

Bank of Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PaK) held its 36th board meeting on Thursday and approved the business plan and budget for 2019.

Bank of Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PaK) held its 36th board meeting on Thursday and approved the business plan and budget for 2019. 

According to a statement of the bank, chief secretary of PaK government, Khawaja Daud Ahmad, who is also the chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting.

President of the bank, Imran Samad, highlighted important points regarding performance of the last year.

After thorough scrutiny, the board approved the bank business plan and budget for the year 2019. The board expressed its satisfaction and confidence over the bank's performance for the year 2018 and appreciated the steps taken by the management for promotion of the bank's business.

The chairman appreciated the role played by the bank for socio-economic development of the people of PaK and assured all possible support and patronage of the government to the bank

The meeting was also attended by all BAJK Directors, Senior Member Board of Revenue Fayyaz Ali Abbasi, Secretary Finance Farid Ahmad Tarar, Secretary Industries Abid Hussain Awan, Secretary Forests Shehla Waqar, Chartered Accountant Ejaz Hussain Rathore, veteran Banker Raja Mumtaz Ali, renowned businessman Naveed Sadiq, besides Secretary Board Maazullah Khan and Chief Financial Officer Shahid Shahzad Mir.
