Srinagar, Mar 12: Manzoor Pakhtoon was elected as chairman of the Houseboat Owners Association, Muhammad Rafiq Karnai as vice chairman of the association after the results of the elections for office bearers were declared.
Pakhtoon has a vast experience in the tourism trade and has held important positions in various tourism trade associations of Kashmir. Rafiq Karnai has served previously as General Secretary of HBOA. He is the owner of Dilshad Group of Houseboats and Hotel Centre Point.
