Chairman PHD Chamber Kashmir Mushtaq Ahmed Chaya has hailed the Jammu and Kashmir government for finalizing a deal on construction of the Dry Ports in J&K, which according to it would serve as industrial hub in the state.
According to statement, Chaya appreciated the efforts of the present government particularly, the finance minister for his ideas to boost the shattered economy of the state and Kashmir in particular by engaging the foreign investors in the state for the purposes of doing business.
"The focused and diversified successful economy of J&K in all sectors is underpinned by a high quality, dynamic, productive and innovative private sector FDI investments and we hope that the sphere of FDI in J&K will be stretched to other sectors as well. This collaboration between the private and public sector we are witnessing today allows our economy to be more sensitive, flexible and responsive to the market needs, and I have no doubt that will lead to fruit-bearing projects and initiatives," said chairman PHD Chamber Kashmir.
The statement said PHD Kashmir chapter would like to put on record the continuous efforts of the Jammu and Kashmir finance minister under leadership of the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, for helping the business community by undertaking new and innovative steps which were unheard of.
