Skill development programme concludes at CSIR-IIIM

Jammu, Mar 13: A three days Skill Development Programme on OECD Principles in GLP organised by CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine Jammu which saw the participation of more than 70 scientists, faculty members, technocrats and researchers from Pharmacology background concluded here today.

Dr Zabeer Ahmed, Director CSIR-IIIM was the chief guest at the event while Dr SG Ramachandra, Chief Research Scientist, IISC Bangalore and Dr PV Mohanan, Scientist G & Head, Toxicology SCTIMST Kerala were the distinguished key resource persons.

   

Dr Zabeer in his address congratulated participants on the successful completion of the Training program and appreciated the participants for their dedication and diligent demonstration throughout the programme.

He also said that CSIR-IIIM remains dedicated to advancing scientific excellence and promoting best practices in laboratory operations. He said that the successful conclusion of the Skill Development Program on OECD Principles in Good Laboratory Practice underscores the institute’s unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of quality, integrity, and professionalism in scientific research and development. Dr Ahmed during his address said that GLP principles serve as a cornerstone for ensuring the quality, integrity, and reliability of data generated from laboratory studies, thereby contributing to global harmonization in regulatory compliance and facilitating international trade. He underscored the importance of continuous learning and adherence to internationally recognized standards in advancing scientific research and innovation.
