Assistant registrar, SKUAST-Kashmir, Shafaqat Hussain, was on Saturday accorded warm send-off on his superannuation from services.
According to a SKUAST-K spokesperson, a farewell function was organized at the vice-chancellor’s office under the chairmanship of the VC Nazeer Ahmed. Among other senior colleagues of Shafaqat, the function was participated by Directors, Deans and other officers of the university. VC described Shafaqat an honest, dedicated and upright officer who has immensely contributed for the development of the university and wished him all the best post retirement. Other speakers, including Ghulam Muhammad Kumar, also highlighted his role and contributions in his career of 33 years in administrative set up of the university.
