‘Stepping out of comfort zones is imperative for personal growth’

Srinagar, Mar 23: Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, J&K Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary delivered an insightful talk during the second session of J&K Changemakers Breakthrough Fellowship which was held here today.

This fellowship is being organized by TimeCode Events in collaboration with BRIDGE Institute, United Kingdom and Infinity Club, Srinagar. The fellowship aims to empower and guide young individuals in discovering their distinct talents and passions.

   

In his address, Dr Shahid emphasized the significance of leadership and decision-making skills in navigating high-pressure situations, both in personal and professional realms. “Stepping out of comfort zones is imperative for personal growth and development,” he advised the participants, urging them to seize maximum opportunities.

“We all should encourage initiatives that expose our youth to international trends,” Dr Shahid remarked, concluding his motivational talk.

Sibath Qureshi, Co-founder and Director of TimeCode Events, highlighted the diverse lineup of sessions featuring distinguished government officers, academics, and business experts. “This program caters to students, entrepreneurs, and employees, offering valuable insights and experiences,” he remarked.

Expressing gratitude to Dr Shahid for his invaluable contribution, Mohammad Asif, Director of TimeCode Events, emphasized the significance of such sessions in nurturing youth potential.

Simon McKenzie, Director of BRIDGE Institute, commended the talent of J&K’s youth, pledging continued support to help them realize their goals.

“This fellowship is a unique opportunity for us to assess our strengths and limitations, and works towards achieve self-realisation,” said Khalid, one of the participants.

The J&K Changemakers Breakthrough Fellowship is a comprehensive six-month program designed to motivate and mentor young individuals, fostering personal and professional development. With 12 knowledge-packed sessions, each spanning two hours, the program promises an enriching experience to participants across various domains.

BRIDGE Institute, United Kingdom, serves as the knowledge partner, with Mission Youth, Government of J&K, and Infinity Club, Srinagar, extending their support to this youth-oriented initiative.

Established in 2010, TimeCode Events has been instrumental in introducing youth-centric programs in J&K, contributing significantly to the development of event management and multimedia production culture in the region.
