SCPI (M) leader and former MLA Kulgam, Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami on Wednesday expressed concern over the heavy damage caused to orchards due to hailstorm in Kulgam district.
Tarigami,in a statement, called for a comprehensive compensation for farmers andorchardists who suffered extensive damages due to hailstorm that wrecked havocin Kulgam district and other areas this afternoon.
Healso urged government to assess the damages immediately so that the orchardistswill not suffer yet again. Meanwhile,National Conference leader Syed Tawqir Ahmad has expressed concern over theheavy damage caused to orchards due to hailstorm in Kokernag area of theAnantnag district.
SyedTawqir in a separate statement issued to press called for a comprehensivecompensation for farmers and orchardists who suffered extensive damage due tohailstorm that wrecked havoc in Kokernag area this afternoon.
