Tourism deptt participates in largest travel trade show

The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department participated in the Tourism and Travel Fair TTF, considered as one of the largest travel trade show networks, held in Hyderabad from 14th to 15th July 2017.

The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department participated in the Tourism and Travel Fair TTF, considered as one of the largest travel trade show networks, held in Hyderabad from 14th to 15th July 2017.

Participants from twelve countries and seventeen Indian states and union territories had come to sell at TTF Hyderabad. These included tourism boards, hoteliers, airlines, tour operators, online travel companies etc and overall 250 stall were established. The countries which represented at Hyderabad included Korea, Nepal and Sri Lanka. 

According to a statement, the department of tourism was represented by Ghulam Jeelani Zargar Deputy Director Tourism Kashmir.

"They were made aware of the scenic beauty and the rich cultural heritage spaces were provided to local travel operators and hoteliers also. The Literature displaying information about various tourist detonations was distributed and they were informed that the tourism department is going to conduct a series of big events in Tosamaidan, Bungus and other destinations," he added.

Jammu and Kashmir also bagged best golfing destination award at the event, the statement added.
