Agriculture department has asked the suppliers of tree spray oil (TSO) for orchards to provide quality products and notify the rates in advance. According to an official statement, a meeting of law enforcement officers was held at the agriculture department office LalMandi here, in which director Syed AltafAejazAndrabi asked the TSO companies and their dealers, to supply quality products and take steps for the reasonability of the prices. He instructed the Enforcement Officers to keep close vigil on the suppliers and directed the companies to notify the rates of the TSO products.
He instructed for intensifying the market checking and stressed upon regulating the prices of TSO. He added that there should be no exploitation of the growers regarding prices and quality of the products. The meeting was informed that 10700 KL TSO is the total requirement for fruit orchards of the valley and shall be readily available in the month of February 2019 in every nook and corner of the valley.
