Vice-Chairperson J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board Dr Hina Shafi Bhat chaired Bankers Meet of Anantnag and Kulgam districts, here today to review the implementation of various schemes of the Board.
The DDC Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Dar, General Manager DICAnantnag, PeerzadaZahoor Ahmad, Deputy CEO KVIB Kashmir DivisionMuzaffarAlaqband, KVIB Executive Officers of Anantnag and Kulgam, LDMs ofAnantnag&Kulgam, Cluster Heads of J&K Bank Anantnag&Kulgamdistricts, Director RSETIs Anantnag&Kulgam and other concerned attended themeeting.
The V-C asked the bankers to work in coordination with KVIBto ensure cent percent implementation of KVIB schemes. She asked for timelycompletion of all the formalities to benefit the youth for establishing their incomegenerating units at an earliest, besides holding of DLTFC meetings after every15 days.
The V-C also asked the officers to avoid conducting writtentests and interviews of the applicants for establishing their units underPMEGP, PMREGP and other schemes, instead simple interactions should be donewith the applicants to make them feel helped as all the applicants need not tobe necessarily high qualified for applying under the said schemes, adding thatsuch an approach will encourage the unemployed youth to establish their incomegenerating units in time.
