Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-K Nazeer Ahmed Thursday inaugurated feed mill, animal nutrition, diagnostic and clinical laboratories here at Mountain Livestock Research Institute (MLRI), Manasbal.
Speaking on the occasion, Nazeer Ahmad said that the newly inaugurated feed plant will prove highly beneficial for the MLRI farm in particular and other farmers in general in terms of increasing production and productivity of milk as the feed produced has high nutritive value and would unravel the doors for high tech research, as the major constraint in profitable dairying is the cost of feeding.
Chief Scientist and Head MLRI Manasbal Prof J D Parrah elucidated the importance of the newly inaugurated feed mill and laboratories.
