The sale of vegetable seedlings (KnolKhol, Cauliflower, Cabbage) was kick started by Director Agriculture Kashmir AltafAijazAndrabi today at kitchen garden lalmandi, here today.
The sale witnessed huge rush of vegetable growers fromSrinagar and adjacent areas.
Interacting with the growers, the Director said thatdepartment is committed to promote the Kitchen Garden Scheme and aims at providingquality vegetable seedlings to the growers so that surplus vegetables areexported. He said that the department is providing quality and healthyseedlings to growers and makes vegetable growing sector a remunerative venture.
