Ramban, May 5: Ramban police arrested a man and recovered 32 bottles of illicit liquor from his car at a police check post on Srinagar-Jammu Highway on Friday.
Police sources said during naka checking at Naka Shan Palace Ramban on NH44 a Srinagar-bound (swift) car bearing registration number DL2CAP-5213 was signaled to stop for checking. They said the driver of the car tried to flee from the spot, however alert police personnel apprehended him.
