Three persons, including two siblings, were among 3 persons killed, when a load carrier they were travelling in met with an accident in Doda district on Tuesday.
An official said that the ill fated load carrier (No. JK06A-1468) on its way to Chanyas from Jammu fell in a 300 feet gorge at Piyakul area of Kahara this afternoon.
As the word about the accident spread locals and rescue teams rushed to the spot to help the victims.
The injured were rushed to Trauma Hospital Thathri, where doctors declared two of them as brought dead. The seriously injured person was moved to district hospital Doda where he succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased were identified as driver Shabir Ahmed his borther Yasir Arafat sons of Zaffarullah Batt and Nisar Ahmed son of Ali Muhammad all residents of Chanyas, Bhallesa.
