Cong Seva Dal concerned over ‘collapse’ of services in remote areas

Congress Seva Dal has expressed deep concern over collapse of basic services in Doda district and blamed the PDP-BJP government for the sufferings of the people there.

As per a press release, Seva Dal chairman   Surinder Singh Manhas, during his tour to Doda and Ramban Districts,   visited villages of Bari, Mundhar, Bhouari, Desh Bhatta, Zaine, Kastiagrh, Chuchatra, Chaliye, Bibrota, Dyargali, Shamti and Rajgarh. 

 He interacted with Seva Dal Volunteers and locals to take stock of the problems being faced by the people .

Manhas said public of these areas is deprived of basic facilities like Ration, Electricity, Water and other services. He said the link roads in these villages are in dilapidated conditions , while the youth are unemployed. He said that the people complained about the non-release of wages and pension of C.P workers, Widows, Handicaped Persons and senior citizens.   

 The Congress Seva Dal leader demanded compensation for those whose houses, land and crops were damaged   due to recent rains and storms etc. He also asserted that KCC loan of the affected formers must be waived off.  Rajinder Singh Rana, Rattan Kumar Bhagat, Bashir Ahmed, Duni Chand Bhagat, Parbhat Singh, Kripa Ram, Irshad Ahmed, Imtayaz Ahmed also accompanied Manhas during the tour.
