Ganipori’s demise widely condoled

Several social and political organizations in Chenab Valley region today condoled the demise of noted Islamic scholar and spiritual personality Haji Ghulam Qadir Bhat Ganipori who passed away on Friday after brief illness.

Several social and political organizations in Chenab Valley region today condoled the demise of noted Islamic scholar and spiritual personality Haji Ghulam Qadir Bhat Ganipori who passed away on Friday after brief illness.

The deceased was laid to rest at the family's ancestral graveyard in Bhalessa. His Nimaz-e-Jinazah was attended by several political leaders, besides thousands of people from all walks of life from different parts of the state.  In a condolence message, State Congress leader and MLA Inderwah, Ghulam Muhammad Saroori expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of Ganipori and termed his death as a "great loss to Millat- e-Islam".

The Chenab Valley Journalists' Association (CVJA) today condoled the demise of the noted spiritual personality at a condolence meeting was held here.

The meeting was attended by journalists working with different print and electronic media organizations. Two-minute silence was observed and fateha khawa was offered to the departed soul in the meeting, which was presided over by Chairman CVJA, Naseer Ahmad Khora.
