Three people died while seven others were injured, one of them critically, in a road mishap in Kishtwar region of Jammu and Kashmir late Tuesday evening, police said.
An official said that a passenger vehicle on way to Marwah area of Kishtwar from Anantnag met with an accident at 6 pm on Tuesday.
The driver lost control and the vehicle rolled down into a branch of Chenab river near Tramkhan, about six kilometers ahead of Marwah.
Three persons, including a woman died, while seven others were injured, he said.
The injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment while one person identified as Muhammad Ramzan who suffered critical injuries was airlifted to Government Medical College Jammu.
