Local volunteers on Saturday fished out the body of a man from Bishlari nallah over two weeks after a Sumo he was travelling in met with an accident near Ramsoo.
The victim was identified as Abdul Rehman Mir of Chak-e-Saidpora of Shopian district in south Kashmir.
Shahjehan Mir, a local who led the rescue team, said they recovered the body seven kilometers downstream from the accident site.
"The body was trapped in big boulders," he said.
When asked what motivated them to launch the rescue operations, he said: "We are doing all this for Almighty Allah."
His team has so far recovered hundreds of dead and injured from deep gorges along in the Banihal-Ramban sector.
