Kishtwar shuts against ‘harassment’ of JK Students

A complete shutdown was observed in Kishtwar town today on the call given by separatist leaders against alleged harassment of Kashmir students in colleges and universities outside the State.

A complete shutdown was observed in Kishtwar town today on the call given by separatist leaders against alleged harassment of Kashmir students in colleges and universities outside the State.

During the bandh call, people assembled near Bus Stand Kishtwar and raised slogans against harassment of Kashmiri students in different parts of India. The protest was led by Hurriyat leader Maulana Qayoom and and Imam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar, Farooq Ahmad Kitcloo.

On the occasion, Kitchloo threatened to launch massive protests against the government "if the government didn't take action against the culprits".
