Sans applicant’s particulars, signed PRC surfaces on social media

A picture of a permanent resident certificate (PRC), duly signed by officers concerned, but without particulars of an applicant, has gone viral on social media, prompting government authorities to order an inquiry.
The PRC, signed by then assistant commissioner, Vivek Puri,naib tehsildar and patwari, along with their stamps, surfaced on social mediain Ramban late on Wednesday night and within no time it was shared widely bynetizens.
The deputy commissioner Ramban Showkat Aijaz Bhat said hehas ordered an inquiry to verify whether the PRC was a valid one orphotshopped. "As per my reports a PRC under the same serial number has alreadybeen issued from the office of the ACR, Ramban," Bhat told Greater Kashmir.
