4 tunnel workers injured in car accident

Four railway tunnel workers of the Hindustan Construction Company sustained injuries when their vehicle slipped into a gorge near Sumber in Ramban on Tuesday evening. 

The police said, “A dumper tipper, bearing registration number 414T09, was on its way to Railway Tunnel, T-48 to T-49, at Sumber when it slipped into a gorge. The driver and three others were injured in the accident. They were taken to a nearby medical aid center by the locals, where they were given first-aid, after which they were shifted to District Hospital Ramban for specialized treatment.”

   

Later, he injured were referred to Government Medical Collage Hospital Jammu.

The injured workers have been identified as 20-year-old Rajinder Singh, resident of Himachal Pardesh, 62-year-old Nayeem Khan and Durga Dubi, both residents of Bihar, and 30-year-old Kulbeer Singh, resident of Uttrakhand. 

The police have registered an FIR and are investigating the case.
