The Anjuman-e- Islamia( AI) Bhadarwah has extended support to complete shutdown call for 11 February by Joint Resistance Leadership on the death anniversary of Maqbool Bhat
Soon after Friday prayers at Markazi Jamia Masjid Bhadarwah, the Anjuman president appealed people to observe shutdown on Sunday in their respective areas.
“We have given a shutdown call for 11th February to support the protest call of Hurriyat conference on the death anniversary of Maqbool Bhat” said president Anjuman-e-Islamia Bhadarwah, Pervaiz Ahmed Sheikh.
“We have also decided to observe it as solidarity day with people of Kashmir and to let both union and state government know that we stand for the cause of Kashmir and dictatorship of RSS-backed leaders cannot be tolerated. We have appealed people of Chenab Valley to observe peaceful bandh on Sunday,” Sheikh added.
