Doda, Aug 03: Two persons including an army man drowned in river Chenab near Doda, police sources said.
They said that the army man Rohit Singh, 25, and Sunil Kumar, 24, both residents of Durga Nagar Khallani in Doda, drowned in Chenab river near the Durga Nagar village while they were washing their hands after performing last rights of their relative on the banks of the river.
Rescue operation has been launched by police, they said.
