DC fixes rates of several commodities

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ramban, Tariq Hussain Ganai, has fixed retail rates for some essential commodities in the district. 

The retail rates of mutton, chicken, boiler chicken, dress egg, milk curd, cheese and other items have been fixed by the DC in an order.

   

The rates will be applicable within jurisdiction of Ramban district with effect from 21 -05-2018.

The rates have been fixed after due consultations with concerned representatives of market associations.

As per the order, the rate of mutton (Safai) has been fixed as Rs 355 per kg, chicken boiler live as Rs130 per kg, chicken dressed as Rs 200 per kg, milk as Rs 40 per liter and curd as Rs 40 per kg.

The designated food safety officer and executive officers of concerned Municipal Committees shall ensure the implementation of notified rates in letter and spirit besides maintaining hygienic conditions.

Rate list will be displayed at prominent place of each shop.
