DC reviews healthcare facilities at DH Ramban

Deputy Commissioner, ShowkatAijazBhat, on Wednesday visited district hospital, Ramban, and reviewed healthcare facilities being extended to patients, especially in the wake of inclement weather, besides checking punctuality of doctors and paramedical staff in the health institution.

Chief medical officer, DrSaif-Ud-Din Khan, medical superintendent DH, Dr J P Singh, and other staff members were present on the occasion. 

   

The DC reviewed the sanitation condition, attendance of doctors and staff members, stock position of medicines and other equipments. In view of the strike of NHM staff, the DC directed the superintendent to cancel the sanctioned earned leave of all the employees, with directions to resume their duty for convenience of the ailing.

Bhat also interacted with the patients and attendants and enquired about the facilities being extended to them by the hospital. He directed the CMO to ensure duty roster of doctors and paramedical staff on notice board, besides displaying the stock position of medicines and other available facilities.

The DC also inspected the ongoing construction work on eye block and doctors’ residential quarter and directed the executing agencies to complete the same within the prescribed time.
