DDC Kishtwar suspends 37 employees

DDC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana suspended 37 government employees posted in Marwah on Tuesday.  

Taking a strong note on the complaints of absenteeism in the government offices, Rana had directed SHO Marwah to conduct surprise visits in various government offices and check the punctuality of employees on February 13. As directed, the SHO conducted various raids and found some offices closed, while in others the officials were absent from their legitimate duties. He sent a detailed report to Rana for further action.

   

According to a statement issued by the administration, the DDC suspended all the absent officials and attached them to the office of SDM Marwah, till further orders. A departmental enquiry in the matter has also been initiated to fix the issue of absenteeism.

The Officials placed under suspension include Abdul Rashid Lone, Murli Manohar, Mohseen Nawaz and Ghulam Mohammed Sheikh of the Animal Husbandry Department, Mohammed Shafi and Qadoom Afrida of the Horticulture Department, Shanti Parkash, Ghulam Rasool, Ghulam Nabi Danak, Ghulam Ahmed Sheikh and Mudasir Ahmed of the RDD Marwah, Ghulam Hussain Zarger, Fayaz Ahmed Akhoon, Ghulam Rasool Dhanak, Abdul Rashid Malik of FCS&CA Marwah, Mohammed Ramzan Mir of the Agriculture Department Marwah, Nazir Ahmed Khanday, Mohammed Ashraf Sheikh, Naighat Baigum, Mohammed Rafi, Ishtiyaq Ahmad, Batinder Singh, Mohammed Ramzan, Mohammed Iqbal, Mohammed Ayob, Vijay Kumar, Shabir Ahmed, Piyare Lal, Farooq Ahmed, Satish Kumar, Sharifa Baigum, Mohammed Aslam and Amir Raza Malik of the R&B Department Division Marwah and Shahidi Baigum, Mohammed Ashraf and Shamema Baigum of the Health Department.
