Ramban, Apr 16: One person was killed on the spot and two others injured after a tipper (Dumper) skidded off the road and fell into Bislari Nullah at Sherbibi area of Banihal on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway Tuesday evening.
Police sources said a rashly driven Dumper bearing registration JK18D-1453 on its way to Jammu from Kulgam, Kashmir skidded off the road and fell into Bisleri Nullah in the Sherbibi area of Banihal.
Police identified the deceased driver as Nawaz Ahmed Bhat, (30), son of Mohammad Amin Bhat resident of Laissu Kulgam. The injured persons were identified as Parvez Ahmed Wagay,(26), son of Bashir Ahmad Wagay and Zubair Ahmed Sofi, (28), son of Mushtaq Ahmed Sofi both residents of Dhamhall Hanjipora Kulgam, Kashmir.
