Five women among 11 injured as vehicle carrying AP tourists overturns in J&K’s Ramban

Banihal Nov 22: Eleven tourists including five women hailing from Telangana Andhra Pradesh were injured after the vehicle they were traveling in overturned on the Srinagar-Jammu highway near Ramsoo area of J&K’s Ramban district on Monday, officials said.

An official told Greater Kashmir that the vehicle was on way to Chandigarh from Srinagar when it met with the accident reportedly due to a tyre burst resulting into injuries to the travelers.

   

The injured identified by an official as Lakshmi wife of Vara Prasad, Sarida wife of Kanta Rao, Kotisirma wife of Nagapoles, Mohini wife of Srinivas Rao, C Hech son of Soi Nasru, C Hech son of Ullaya, Kantha Rao, son of Gurmat Rao, Badrinath, son of Subarao, Sunita, wife of Badrinath, Kalviprasad, son of Sadhu and Major Ram, son of Ajit Ram- all residents of Vijayvara Telangana in Andhra- were shifted to PHC Ramsoo from where all of them were shifted to District Hospital Ramban, an official said.

He further said that three of the injured women have head injuries, however all of them are out of danger at DH Ramban.
