District Development Commissioner Dooda Sagar D Doifode today reviewed functioning of the ICDS department and Anganwari Centres run by it in the district at meeting of CDPOs and Supervisors. The meeting held a detailed deliberation on the working and smooth functioning of Anganwari Centres.
The DDC directed the supervisors to timely provide the fixedquantity of food and nutrition supplies to Anganwari Centres besides healthservices and nutrition to pregnant women, nursing mothers and adolescent girls.
They were instructed to keep close check on AnganwariCentres by touring four days in a week in the areas of their respectivejurisdiction to ensure that all the centres are functioning properly.
The DDC also asked the concerned authorities to discuss themodalities with the RDD department for the construction of new structures ofanaganwari centres in convergences mode with MGNREGA.
