Chairman Muslim Shoora Committee and Imam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar, Farooq Ahmed Kichloo, today condemned the denial of chopper to critically injured youth of Kishtwar Murtaza Mir last week.
Speaking at Friday prayers, he said the parents of the youth and local residents of Kishtwar approached Health minister Bali Bhagat to provide state chopper at that time but he denied the same.
Kichloo lamented that the refusal of chopper at emergency time was against humanity and alleged that it was a 'communal act' of the said minister.
He said that despite the fact that the chopper was available in Kishtwar when the family and local public requested, but the minister flied alone on it.
"We were forced to shift the critically serious patient by road even as the State chopper was available at helipad Kishtwar. The youth was injured in a road accident who later died in medical college Jammu," Kichloo said.
