Hundreds of Muslims staged a candle-light vigil at Bus stand Kishtwar after the evening prayers to express solidarity with Kashmiris.

At least 53 people have died in protests that erupted after the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani.

The protesters were holding placards with slogans like "Stop killing innocent Kashmiri's, "We Want Freedom" and "Go back Go Back."

Reports said that people raised pro-freedom and anti-India slogans during the rally after evening prayers.
