A 36-year-old man died after falling from a hillock in Kishtwar district on Thursday, police said.
A police officer said, “SajjadHussain, son of GhulamMouhiuddin Rather and a resident of Kwath-Durbeel area, was on his way home when he slipped down a hillock near Kwath area. He died on the spot.”
After hearing about the incident, locals rushed to the spot and retrieved the body.
Meanwhile, police have also registered a case.
