A Special Police Officer’s family had a narrow escape when a cedar tree fell on their house due to heavy snowfall in Chakka area of Bhadarwah today afternoon.
ASP Bhadarwah, Rajinder Singh, said the house of SPO Fareed Ahmed was damaged in the incident.
He said that neighbours rushed to the house and helped the family evacuate.
The ASP Bhadarwah informed that in view of heavy snowfall in police sub-division Bhadarwah, police have established helpline numbers for general public.
