The National Investigation Agency Wednesday raided two houses in Kishtwar in connection with the murder of BJP leader Anil Parihar and his brother Ajeet Parihar by unknown gunmen on 1 November 2018.
The NIA team detained two suspects, one of whom is a formermilitant who had joined BJP in 2014.
Meanwhile, the police have so far questioned eight peoplewhose involvement is suspected in snatching an AK-47 rifle from a personalsecurity officer of the Kishtwar deputy commissioner last Saturday.
The police also seized an Alto car (registration numberJK17-5025), saying it was used by the assailants after snatching the PSO'srifle.
