Officer among five injured in oxygen cylinder blast at Baglihar power project in Ramban

Five persons, including an official, were injured in an oxygen cylinder blast at Baglihar hydropower project in Chanderkote area in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

Deputy Manager, JP Associates Randeep Singh told Greater Kashmir that the blast took place inside a store of the power project.

   

He said three workers, an officer of mechanical wing and a security man were injured in the blast.

The injured, he said, were shifted to district hospital Ramban where from one of them was referred to GMC&H for specialised treatment.
