Police trace 2 missing girls

The local police claimed to have traced two missing girls on Saturday. 

According to reports, a missing report was filed by Sher Singh claiming that his daughter, Santosha Devi, had disappeared since February 2.

   

A search was initiated and the police managed to trace out the girl from Bhaderwah. She was handed over to her father after completing all legal formalities.

Meanwhile, another missing report was lodged by Mohinder Singh claiming that his daughter Swarna Devi had gone missing since June 29, 2017. “After receiving the complaint, we launched a search operation and on the basis of technical intercepts, we succeeded to recover the girl from her relative’s house at Jammu. The woman was handed over to the family after completing all medico-legal,” the police said.

The girls were recovered by a police team led by In-charge Police Post Kashtigarh SI Ashiq Hussain and SHO Doda Inspector Manjeet Singh, under the supervision of Deputy SP HQrs Iftkhar Ahmed and SSP Mohammad Shabir.
