In a significant show of solidarity with the minority community and the bereaved family, Imam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar, Farooq Kitchloo appealed all the Muslims to reach cremation ground to join the last rites of the slain BJP leader and his brother.
Kitchloo made the appeal during the congregational weekly prayers.
In Thathri area of Doda, members from both the communities held a protest against the killing of BJP state secretary Anil Parihar, 52, and his brother, Ajeet Parihar, 55 by unknown gunmen last night in Kishtwar.
The area is also observing shutdown to mourn the killings which have been condemned by both the communities in Kishtwar town.
