Srinagar, June 8: The Srinagar-Jammu highway would remain shut for repairs and other works on Wednesday.
The government had already issued orders in which it said that for carrying necessary repairs and maintenance, the highway would remain shut for vehicular traffic from Jawahar Tunnel to ChenaniNashri tunnel on Wednesday.
It said that vehicular traffic in both the directions would remain suspended on Wednesday.
Traffic Police headquarters Srinagar and Jammu also issued an advisory that in view of the repair and maintenance of the Srinagar-Jammu highway, no vehicular movement would be allowed between Nashri and Jawahar Tunnel on Wednesday.
