Srinagar, Sept 4: The Srinagar-Jammu National highway was blocked due to shooting stones and mudslides triggered by rains in Ramban district on Thursday.
“Traffic update at 0900 hrs: Jammu Srinagar NHW (NH-44) blocked at Cafeteria, Mehad, Ramban due to continuous shooting stones and mudslides, ” a Traffic Police official said. He said men and machinery have been pressed into service to restore the traffic.
Mughal road and SSG road are through for vehicular movement.
