Suspected IED defused in J&K’s Kishtwar

Srinagar Aug 14: An IED-type explosive device was defused on the Kishtwar-Keshwan road by security forces on Saturday, police said.

A police spokesperson told Greater Kashmir that an explosive device was detected by a joint patrolling team of Army’s 26 RR and local police assisted by a dog scout near Kuriya bridge along the Kishtwar-Keshwan road early this morning.

   

Later, the joint team of the security forces destroyed the explosive device on the spot, the spokesperson said.
