Two houses were partially damaged and several trees were uprooted due to wind storm in this hill district on Sunday.
Reports said violent wind wreaked havoc in the areas of Kishtwar district smashed rooftops, uprooted trees, damaged boundary walls of several houses and hit residential houses.
The storm also caused damages in several outskirt areas of Kishtwar.
"Most of the people in the region preferred to remain indoors as strong winds were blowing at a very high speed. Rooftops of homes across the region were blown away as GI sheets fell down from residential houses.
Talking to Greater Kashmir, a local resident of Kishtwar town, Masood Mattoo, informed that the boundary wall of his residential house got fully damaged as it fell down due to strong wind.
