Al-Qadr is the night of Power, of Honour, of Values,  which may fall on 23rd, 25th or 27th night of the Holy month of Ramadan, or in other odd nights of last ten days.  It is the night of spiritual bliss, better than a thousand months, where peace prevails, as enshrined in the Holy Verses of Surah—Al Qadr:

''We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power. And will explain to thee what Night of Power is? The Night of Power is better than thousand Months. Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission on every errand. Peace!…This until onset of dawn! (30:97)

Surah Al-Qadr has five verses—mystical verses which transcendent time and space, it is a station of timelessness tuned to divine timing, where there is no past, present or future.  Divine timing has no such bindings, which explains timelessness. That is why it stands related the 'Message' contained in Al-Quran was revealed on Night of Power, the Night when knowledge was empowered with 'Mother of Books' the Holy Quran. Thousand Months is metaphorical, denoting timelessness.

On the night assigned, angels along with the archangel Gabriel (A.S)—the Spirit of inspiration descend from heavens above on whatever the errand, they are assigned. The 'Message' is message of Peace, as indeed Al-Quran is—the very embodiment of Peace! The Peace that endows the Soul dissipates the darkness within, a sense of Peace and Security arises in the soul, and the glory of new spiritual world dawns, where everything is on a different plane. It transforms the conflict of wrong-doing into Peace and Harmony—through the agency of angelic host, representing the spiritual powers of the Mercy of Allah (SwT).
