Tral shuts on 2nd day to mourn militants’ killing

A complete shutdown was observed in the Tral of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district for the second consecutive day on Wednesday against the killing of two militants in the area.

TwoHizbul Mujahideen militants were killed during a firefight with the governmentforces in Tral-i-Payeen on Tuesday.

   

Shops and business establishments remained closed in thearea while public transport was off the roads.

One of the slain militants Adfar Fayaz alias Abu Zarar ofGulshapora was a resident of Tral and Irfan Ahmad Rather alias Abu Talib camefrom Sharifabad in the area.

People from different areas continued to visit the houses ofslain rebels and offered prayers and condolences.

A two-storey residential house was completely destroyedduring gunfight and a civilian was also injured.
