Baramulla, Apr 4: Aakash BYJU’S, the national leader in test preparatory services, as part of expansion of its network inaugurated its first classroom centre at north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Thursday.
The move aims to provide quality education and support to students aspiring to excel in Medical and Engineering Entrance Examinations.
Located at Green Town, Sopore Bypass, in Baramulla district, the new Classroom Centre will boast 12 classrooms equipped to accommodate up to 600 students. Catering to students preparing for medical and engineering entrance examinations, the Centre will also offer foundation-level courses in due course of time.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Nabin Karki, National Academic Director of Aakash BYJU’S, who highlighted the significance of this initiative for local students. Karki highlighted Aakash BYJU’S commitment to providing quality education nationwide through its extensive network of centres.

The event was attended by scores of respectable citizens of the area besides the former toppers of the institute were also present. These toppers while highlighting their achievement said that their success would not be possible without the faculty of Akash who guided them step by step till they achieved their goal.
“The presence of the Akash at Sopore will be a huge benefit for the students of north Kashmir. It will be like getting quality education at the doorstep. We believe it will immensely benefit the students of north Kashmir,” said Umar, a batch 2023 topper of the institute.
