Jammu, Aug 2: A total of 984 yatris on Wednesday left for their respective destinations in Pahalgam and Baltal to undertake the Amarnath Yatra.
Officials said that they left for Pahalgam and Baltal from Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu amid tight security arrangements.
“Of the 984 yatris, 498 left for Pahalgam in 21 vehicles, and 486 left for Baltal in 33 vehicles,” officials said.
