CJ nominates administrative judges for J&K, Ladakh distts

Jammu, Dec 3: Chief Justice High Court of J&K and Ladakh Pankaj Mithal has nominated administrative judges for different districts of two Union Territories.

As per an order issued by the Registrar General, the allocation of administrative districts, tribunals and authorities in UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh among the Judges of the High Court of J&K and Ladakh has been made in supersession of all previous orders in this connection.

The order will come into effect from January 1, 2022.

Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey will be the administrative judge for Srinagar and Budgam districts; MACT Srinagar; Special Tribunal Srinagar and one man Forest-Authority.

Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur will be the administrative judge for Jammu and Reasi districts; MACT Jammu and Special Tribunal Jammu.

Justice Tashi Rabstan as an administrative judge has been allocated Leh and Kargil districts; Labour Court and Industrial Tribunal and Sales Tax Appellate Authority.

Justice Sanjeev Kumar will be the administrative judge for Baramulla and Bandipora districts. Kathua and Samba districts have been allocated to Justice Sindhu Sharma while Udhampur and Doda districts have been allocated to Justice Rajnesh Oswal.

Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul will be the administrative judge for Pulwama and Shopian districts; Justice Sanjay Dhar has been allocated Anantnag and Kulgam districts while Poonch and Rajouri districts have been allocated to Justice Puneet Gupta.

Justice Javed Iqbal Wani will be the administrative judge for Kupwara and Ganderbal districts while Justice Mohan Lal and Justice Mohd Akram Choudhary will be the administrative judges for Ramban and Kishtwar districts respectively.
