Jammu, Feb 10: Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has posted a senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of AGMUT cadre, Nitish Kumar, who was on central deputation, to Jammu and Kashmir.
“Consequent upon his repatriation from central deputation, Nitish Kumar, an IPS officer of 1999 AGMUT cadre is hereby posted to J&K with immediate effect and until further orders,” read an order issued by MHA.
Kumar has served as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, South Kashmir Range, Anantnag.
