KU, CUS postpone all exams for today

The Kashmir University (KU) and the Cluster University Srinagar postponed all examinations scheduled to be held on January 4 (Monday), in view of the inclement weather conditions.

A spokesperson of the KU said that all the University Undergraduate and Professional Examinations—including BG 3rd Year, 6th Semester, BDS Final and  OCMIL—scheduled to be held on January 4, 2021 (Monday) were postponed in view of the inclement weather conditions. “New dates for the deferred examinations will be notified separately,” Controller examinations KU, Prof Irshad A Nawchoo said in a statement.

   

Also, the specialization papers of LLM 2nd semester, batch 2019 have been postponed. “The new date of the said papers shall be notified very soon,” head and dean of Law department KU, Prof. Muhammad Ayub said.

Meanwhile, the Cluster University Srinagar (CUS) also postponed all the examinations and the counselling session of Post-Graduation (PG) admissions scheduled on January 04 (Monday).

The controller examination CUS, Mir Khurshid Ahmad said the new dates for the postponed examinations will be notified separately. It may be mentioned that J&K Board of School Education (BOSE) postponed its class 11th exam on Sunday in view of inclement weather.
