Budgam, Apr 14: A 46-year-old man lost his life when a bolt of lightning struck Jabbad Banwar area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
The deceased, Ghulam Nabi Chopan son of Abdul Samad Chopan, of Branwar was feeding cattle when the incident occurred. The police said the deceased was feeding his cattle when lightning struck the tree, killing him on the spot.
