Rajouri, Nov 5: The historic Mughal Road connecting Poonch district with Shopian in south Kashmir has been closed for all kinds of vehicular traffic due to fresh snowfall received in upper reaches of Rajouri and Poonch districts.
Deputy Superintendent Police (Traffic), Rajouri-Poonch, Aftab Shah said that fresh snowfall has started on Mughal Road and accumulation of snow has been reported especially near Pir Ki Gali. ” We have closed the road for all kinds of vehicular traffic,” said Shah. The officer added that restoration of traffic on the road depends on weather conditions.
